Diner Dash Games General Extraction Error Location ES1

I am trying to load the Diner Dash Game from the CD ROM onto my computer. The game will download the files but during the installing process I receive an error that says General Extraction Error Location ES1. once install is complete this error will disappear. When I click on the icon to start the game, the error will appear again and not allow the game to load. I also go into the file location and click on the game itself and I am asked for a Security key in order to load the start menu and play the game. WHen I purchased this game in 2011 - 2012, I was not asked for a security key nor did one come with the cd-roms. This company (PlayFirst) does not exist anymore so I would like to know how can these games be compatible with the Windows 11 system? Thanks.

According to your description, I knew that you have an error while playing an older version of the game.

First, if the game's provider is no longer supporting the game, the compatibility of the game may not be very good.

However, you can try the following solutions, maybe it will help. Search the name of the software in the start menu, then select the app in the search results, right-click > Open file location, right-click in the open folder The program > "Properties" > "Compatibility" tab, then tick "Run this program in compatibility mode for" in "Compatibility mode" and try different options.

This solution doesn't work with another Iwin game, Emerald City Confidential. The game gives me general extraction error, and I've tried all compability modes to make sure as I knew it worked in windows 10. I haven't yet changed anything internally in my computer but there seems to be something missing in the windows 11 to make the iwin games function - as that is the major change made. I even reinstalled the game on my pc to make sure. Yet it still doesn't work. Do you have a clue?
