I contacted Microsoft support regarding my windows activation. I don’t even know if I went to the correct website but his number +1(425)635-2970 called me seconds later from Bellevue, WA saying that are the Microsoft support team with a heavy Indian accent to the the point where I can barely decipher what they’re saying. I hear some background noise from them as well which is probably the people they work with and they ask for my email, number, and full name. Then they email me from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** giving me a code which I don’t even know if it’s a legit email

Unfortunately there's not enough information to tell if this is legit. How did you reach Microsoft support initially? If you go through Microsoft's official website or the Get Help app in your Windows to request a call back, then yes, this can be legit. They are usually calling from a 425 area code and yes, a lot of support reps are based out of India.
Email address is censored in this platform, so I can't see what email address you put in there. But if the email is coming fromt his domain @mail.support.microsoft.com it is legit.
The typical scams you want to avoid are those pop ups on your computer saying your IP address is compromised, or your computer is infected with virus, etc, and that you must call a number to contact Microsoft, etc.

the email is m s f t f o r t before the domain @ and I went on what I believe was the Microsoft support site.
The email before that contacting me about my support request has m s c s u p 1 before the @ then microsoft.com
