Dell Inspiron 5570 - Windows Hello fingerprint: Something went wrong. Try again later.

Hello,

I have a Dell Inspiron 5570 service tag: 63PQ042. After a fresh W11 Pro install, the windows hello fingerprint is not working.

It recognizes the hardware, it just says Something went wrong...

I have tried installing 3 different Goodix driver version (older too), all from official Dell page.

This is the event error I get:

Device USB\VID_27C6&PID_5301&MI_00\6&23cb0910&0&0000 had a problem starting.

Driver Name: oem51.inf

Class Guid: {53d29ef7-377c-4d14-864b-eb3a85769359}

Service: WUDFRd

Lower Filters: WinUsb

Upper Filters:

Problem: 0x0

Problem Status: 0xC00000E5

Any ideas? Thanks.

Thank you.

The BIOS is fully updated too.

Did you run diagnostics from Dell and see if a hardware issue is detected?

Thanks

Simon
