Dell Audio equalizer doesn't work...

Updated to 10 this morning, turn on some music once it was done, and it sounds terrible. Thought it was my speakers, tried my headset and nope, definitely sounds terrible. But I'm sure I fixed this before on the equalizer in Dell Audio? Apparently Windows 10 deleted that.

Also, I'm a complete novice with computers.

So the problem, as you can see, is when I open the equalizer tab... well, there are no equalizers. Thought I'd post here before I swap back. Tried google, found 1 post on a Dell forum about it, and the replies that guy got were seemingly from an illiterate robot and were no use at all.

Anyway, after trawling around the aweful Dell support site I eventually find my device and look for the drivers for the audio, only to find this out:

I tried the driver anyway but it won't work. Should I just go back to 8.1 as I assume that Dell won't be offering updates to Dell audio for my laptop, even though this one is about 54 weeks old...

Or can anyone suggest any third party sound equalizers?

Strange, I just searched Dell's site for this model (Inspiron 7537) and it tells me that it *is* supported for Windows 10. Here's the direct URL, can you check? It's entirely possible they just added support in the last day or so. :-)

Please let me know how this works out for you. Thanks!

Doesn't help that Edge isn't compatible with the Dell's detector software...

This found me a driver to download but it hasn't addressed the problem I was having. The Dell audio equalizer and Maxxaudio options still aren't there...

Agree!  Windows 10 seems to have made a number of changes on my PC as I really liked using the Dell Maxx Audio equalizer features.  After two days with Win 10, I am becoming more inclined to return to Win 8.1 Pro.  Don't like Windows 'fixing things' that aren't broke!

So, I am used to hearing my music with the bass on and the new windows upgrade would not let me do it. Initially, I thought that it is some glitch and shall wear of in a day or two, with the recent upgrades still coming in, but to my dismay it never happened. I am so disappointed that I feel like going back to the previous version. hearing to the music with the new version is as if the people in the song are shouting in your hear. There is no fun in hearing the songs on my laptop anymore. Please Microsoft people urgent help required. Take care of the matter as soon as possible. Until the Microsoft people come up with a solution to this problem, I am open to some other way of making it happen.
