Deletion of file WISECUSTOMCALL.dll

I was tracing a file that was marked as dangerous by mcafee quick clean and deleting it.  Whilst doiing this I came across a file called wisecustomcall.dll and I googled it.  I misinterpreted the information and deleted the folder containg this file. After I had deleted it I re-read the information and realised that it was not a trojan.  Is my deletion of this file serious? What does it do and if it is necessary to re-instate it how do I do this.

Was the file WiseCustomCall.dll or WiseCustomCalla.dll?  Trojans will emulate file names.

 

WiseCustomCalla.dll (VirusScan Config Utility) is a component from the software McAfee VirusScan version 4.5.0 by Network Associates, Inc.. WiseCustomCalla.dll version 4.5.0 is most commonly found under the directory "1912F734658046208AFDECCCEA19CDE2.TMP" with a creation date of March 27, 2005. This is not a known spyware, adware, or trojan component.

IF the above file, uninstall McAfee, reboot and reinstall McAfee software.

 

WiseCustomCall.dll is one of those programs that get installed on your computer without your permission. They continue to install many corrupted files on your computer and you would not even know about it. It ultimately ruins the PC system completely and for this reason it is compulsory that you should work on to remove WiseCustomCall.dll from your PC as soon as possible!
