Hello, ErenHan

Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I have carefully read the information and problem description you provided.

I understand that this problem is frustrating for you, and it sounds like your keyboard may have some hardware or software problems. I suggest that you try the following methods to troubleshoot the error, which may help you.

Cause 1. It is possible that there is a hardware failure in the Shift key or the D key itself, causing them to not be pressed at the same time. You can try to clean the keyboard to see if there is dust or dirt affecting the contact of the keys.

If possible, try a different keyboard to see if that solves the problem. If the problem disappears after changing the keyboard, it means that there may be a problem with the keyboard itself.

Cause 2. In the keyboard settings of the operating system, sometimes "Sticky Keys" or other accessibility features may be accidentally enabled. These settings sometimes cause the combination of keys to behave abnormally. You can try turning these features off to see if there is any improvement.

Open "Control Panel" > "Ease of Access Center" > "Ease of Access Keyboard Settings", and then make sure "Sticky Keys" is turned off.

Mac: Go to System Preferences > Accessibility > Keyboard section and check if Sticky Keys is enabled.

Reason 3. Check if there is any third-party software interference: Some programs (for example, game software, shortcut key management tools, or keyboard customization software) may interfere with normal keyboard input, especially when they are related to the combination operation of the Shift key or the D key. Try to close all unnecessary background applications to see if the problem is solved.

I suggest you try a clean boot. Your current problem may be caused by some third-party software interference. Therefore, I recommend that you perform a clean boot to rule out third-party software interference. Please follow the guide in the following link.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows - Microsoft Support

Disclaimer: A clean boot starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether background services are interfering with your games or programs and isolate the cause of the problem.

If the problem does not recur after trying a clean boot, it means that some third-party software is interfering with your current problem, so please follow the instructions in the link "How to determine the cause of the problem after performing a clean boot" to find the third-party software causing the problem and uninstall it.

Best regards

Thank you for your reply, I am on a laptop but I plugged in a different keyboard. Unfortunately it appears to be a hardware issue. I will try cleaning the keyboard to see if it solves the problem.
