Cyberlink power recovery loop

Hi

I am using windows 10

I have Cyberlink power recovery installed on my Medion PC. When booting up it goes straight into the power recovery program. I click through the options and the recovery/backup process completes. But when the computer restarts the same power recovery menu appears and I go through the process again, and when restarting the same menu appears. It seems to be stuck in a loop. My question is, is there a way of temporarily disabling power recovery in order to let the boot process complete? I also tried booting windows from a usb and it didn’t work I am in desperate need of help

Hello alwaleed khalid,

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I sympathize with your inability to access the Windows desktop, don’t worry, I'll help you.

Can you see the following screen in startup, if so, please select your current system as the startup item and restart your computer.

If you can't see the above screen, then please go to Safe Mode to uninstall Cyberlink power.

1). Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut down Do this twice.

2). On the third start, Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, and Command Prompt... etc.
3). On the WinRE page > go to Troubleshooting - Advanced Options - Startup Settings, click Restart After restarting, press 4 to enter Safe Mode

4). Enter safe mode to uninstall Cyberlink power

5). Windows + R type "msconfig" to enter the system configuration interface, select the Boot tab, set the current system as the default boot item, and restart the computer

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Hi ! I also have a problem with the same program except I dont think i ever installed it, I cant find it in my app install / uninstall menu either but when I boot up my PC it starts a loot where Cyberlink will start up, ask me to choose a language and if I press next it simply says I dont have a "Thumbnail" installed ...? and just reboots my PC, looping back to the same thing. the only way I can start my pc is by opening the boot menu during startup and choose a blank option among my harddrives :/ i'd love to know what you think of it and if you can help, thank you. <3
