I tried updating my video drivers using windows update drivers and the manufacturer drivers, but it wasn't effective.

I restored my notebook to Oct 13, removing the 3 updates and it solved the HDMI port problem.

I hope they get another update since the updates from Oct 14 are security updates.

Thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear you got back to a working monitor. I was getting ready to do a restore when I inadvertantly fixed the monitor issue buy just changing the USB-3 port. I suspect the other USB-3 port may still have issues now even though I'm able to use it for the power plug. This may sound like a hardware issue but it literally happened after the update. I'll probably do the restore since I have the other issue to deal with, I'm just trying to get something done now after wasting nearly a whole day trying to fix things!

Tried the solution. Same error.

Lenovo laptop windows 10 home 64, 2004, update KB4579311, 10/4/20 causes an error with Powershell\V1.0\Powshsip.dll. Had to uninstall to fix. Attempted manual update and auto-update  still same issue. At this time I had to pause updates. Any advice?

Regards , Max

OK, I installed these updates last night and now my Brother printer is not working. This is a repeat of the problems created by the June updates to Windows 10. After that update, I had to remove KB4560960. I also had to download and install KB 4567512 to get my printer to work again. It appears one of the updates installed last night reintroduces that bloody problem that should have been solved after the June update debacle. So, which of the October updates is causing the problem? Is it KB4578974, KB4580325, or KB4577671? Or do I have to delete all 3 to have my printer function again? It's enough to make me move to Apple after all these years just so the bloody architect of the system doesn't make it impossible for me to work!

Have you try to change the display settings on your Lenovo Yoga laptop computer.

You need to check your Graphic Card drivers for latest updates.

Check your motherboard manufacturer for any latest bios updates or driver updates.

And if last resort. If nothing works. You have to back up all your important files to another USB External Hard Disk before performing reformatting and reinstalling windows 10 again.
