Try a restart using Start > Power > Restart.
Thanks, Paul. Indeed I messed it up(When I wrote the same 1809 CU page wasn't live). I have corrected and checked, thanks.

After installing this update on my bootcamp’d late 2017 27” iMac it has COMPLETELY ruined my installation.

It boots to a black screen with the blue windows logo, and the spinning circle.
It then shows a black screen with the spinning circle, the circle then freezes and crashes, triggering a restart.

It has crashed so many times in succession it triggers repair mode, through which I “uninstalled the most recent quality update” - the issue persists and had to perform a system restore to fix it.

During this covid crisis I cannot believe microsoft could be so callous as to push out an update that has essentially bricked my device. While I am thankful its a mac and can still boot into OSX I require Windows so as to connect to my office.

I have top-tier hardware and windows is “supposed” to be able to be installed on anything. This is pathetic.

Another update that went without a hitch.
I mean... I don't notice any visual changes. I am going to look at some changelogs.
All my files are gone it is like the computer was wiped clean. What can I do??
RIP Hope you get your files back
