Hi Rayaan KhanOC,

Thanks for reporting this issue in Microsoft Community.

In your description, you are experiencing blue screen issue. You are seeing kernal power event id 41 error in event viewer.

I noticed that you suspected that the problem was in the driver of your graphics card and you tried many versions of the driver, thanks for your efforts to resolve this issue, your efforts deserve to be recognized. I do understand that the current situation is frustrating.

I checked your blue screen logs and the error message suggests that the driver did not complete its response within a specific time frame. The process reporting the error is ntkrnlmp.exe, which is the filename of the Windows NT operating system kernel. It is associated with the system RAM and is responsible for hardware, process, and memory management.

Please download the corresponding management software according to your device manufacturer and try to update the drivers for the chipset of your motherboard.

For example, lenovo vantage, HP Support Assistant, Dell SupportAssistant are some of the software.

At the same time, please search the device manager in the taskbar search box, open it, check if there are any abnormal drivers, if so, please try to update them, if not, please update the drivers of your frequently used devices.

In addition, this problem may also be related to some other reasons, such as errors in memory, or conflicts in third-party software, etc. Please refer to the content in the following link and try to check it from several aspects

Check the memory:

Tap Windows+R, type MdSched and tap Enter to open the memory diagnostic tool

Tap Restart Now and check for problems

Follow the prompts to check, wait for it to complete and check the report to see if any issues are detected.

Check the hard disk:

Search for cmd and run it in administrator mode

Type chkdsk c: /f

Wait for the check to complete and see if the problem is checked and fixed.

Disclaimer: Run chkdsk to check the file system and file system metadata of the volume for logical and physical errors. To avoid causing unnecessary trouble, please follow the above steps step by step and do not interrupt or cancel during the run, and make a backup of important data.

Perform a system file check

1. Search for Command Prompt in the taskbar, right-click it, and select Run as administrator mode.

2. Enter the following commands one by one, please make sure to execute the next command after the previous one is completed.

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
SFC /Scannow

3. After the scan is complete, you can check the scanning information to see if any problems have been detected and fixed.

Some third-party software conflicts may also cause this problem, in order to troubleshoot this possibility, I recommend trying a clean boot which starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It can be used to determine whether a background service or program is interfering or causing a problem.

These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by-step.

Please check if the same problem occurs in clean boot, if not, please open your frequently used software one by one to see which one crashes after opening it.

If none of the above options can help you, then the problem is most likely due to some hardware malfunction in your computer, or there are some compatibility issues, please contact your device manufacturer and ask them to do a thorough check of your computer hardware.

I hope the above can help you, if you have any other questions, please continue to contact me, thank you for your support and understanding.

Best regards,

Hi Rayaan KhanOC.

Thanks for your reply.

I understand that you ran MdSched and then updated the drivers.

May I ask if you are still having the blue screen problem?

Also, what is the device manufacturer or brand of your computer? What is the model of the video card?

Please reply me with these.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Hi Rayaan KhanOC.

Thanks for your reply. I understand that currently your computer is still having blue screen (BSOD) and most of the time you are not able to perform operations.

Have you tried the program I gave you earlier regarding memory check and clean boot? Did you do any driver update?

If you are not able to operate, please refer to the following steps and try to boot your computer in Safe Mode and try in Safe Mode

1 Long press the power button to force shutdown, then reboot, and repeat this three times

2 After the above repeated startups, boot up again, the system will enter the Windows RE interface, and a series of options will appear, please follow the instructions in the back of my instructions to do so

3 Click on "Troubleshooting".

4 Select "Advanced Options"

5 Select "Startup Settings".

6 Click the "Reboot" button and you will see the boot menu, select the number corresponding to Safe Mode to enter Safe Mode.

Check to see if you can enter the system in Safe Mode.

If the blue screen still exists, it is likely that there is a hardware problem in your computer, but to check this possibility thoroughly, please refer to the following steps to perform a clean installation of the system

1 Take out your hard drive from your computer, plug it into another computer and back up the data on it, back up the data and then format it completely and plug it back into your computer.

2 Make a system installation media using a USB drive, you can download the system image file from the following link

Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)

3 After making the installation media for your system, please plug it into your computer, and then boot up your computer, and under the guidance of the BIOS manual or the device manufacturer, enter the BIOS settings and set it as the boot device for booting, and reinstall the system in this way.

You can refer to the following link for more details.

How to: Perform a Custom Installation of Windows 11 and Windows 10 or - Microsoft Community

Disclaimer: At this point, we have exhausted all troubleshooting and I recommend that we try to perform a clean install to get your computer back into a working condition. Please ensure that you backup any important data, including Documents, Pictures, Videos, and more.

4 Check to see if the blue screen still occurs with the new system, if it still does, then it is most likely a hardware failure on your computer, please contact your device manufacturer and have them perform a thorough check of your hardware.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Hi Rayaan KhanOC.

Thanks for your reply. I understand that you reinstalled Windows and tried many versions and the issue still persists. Thank you for your many efforts to resolve this issue, your efforts deserve to be recognized and I do understand that the current situation is frustrating.

Then there is a high probability that this issue is caused by a hardware failure or a driver that is not loaded correctly and has nothing to do with Windows.

Please try downloading and installing the corresponding driver through what I said in my previous reply and see if the problem still exists.

If the problem persists, it is likely that there is some hardware failure in your computer. Please contact Intel's support staff via the link in my previous reply so that they can perform a thorough check of your hardware and they can provide you with more targeted assistance.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
