I was running Cricut Design Studio on my old computer that had XP, but it won't run on Windows 7. I get an error message that the program quit working. How do I make it work?
As the link suggested by Andre says that the system requirement for the program is either Windows XP or Windows Vista. It may not be compatible
with Windows 7.
Check to see if the following helps.
Step 1: You may uninstall
the program completely and install it in the compatibility mode.
Step 2: To install the program in the compatibility
mode, follow these steps.
a.Right
click on the setup file (setup.exe for the program) and select Properties.
b.Now
click on the Compatibility tab and check the box which says “Run this program in compatibility mode for.”
c.Select
Windows XP (Service Pack 3) or Windows Vista (Service Pack 2). Click Apply and OK.
d.Now
right click the setup file and select Run as Administrator and follow the normal installation procedure. Check to see if you can use the program now.
