creative cloud won't launch in Windows 10 - compatibility issues?

I've updated to windows 10 and since then I cannot open Adobe creative cloud. There is an error message saying

"windows cannot find C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\ACC\Creative Cloud.exe"

I've tried running in Admin and compatibility mode but without success. When I troubleshoot compatibility it tells me it is not compatible.

I spent about 1 1/2 hours with Adobe support yesterday with them taking control of my machine but without success.

Anyone with similar issues or ideas

Hi,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Forums.

Since Windows 10 is a new operating system, not all programs or applications are compatible. We are working with vendors and OEM/manufacturer's to make programs compatible with Windows 10.

Thank you for the update. Please provide a feedback through the feedback app.

Adobe creative cloud should be compatible with windows 10 according to Adobe and it appears other users have no issues with running the program

That's good to know I was beginning to think it was just me that had this issue. Have you raised it with Adobe. The last conversation I had with them they just said that cc was compatible with win10. There seems to be an issue somewhere

Creative Cloud is actually now working for me after I did the Windows 10 cumulative update. Of course that same update knocked out the Realtek audio on another computer. Oye. Windows 10 is definitely not ready for prime time.

Unfortunately still not working for me after that update. Unfortunately the only line I'm getting from Adobe now is that it is compatible. So far the only Adobe product I can get to launch is lightroom but it's still kinda pointless without CC launching. So for me CC, PS, Acrobat and digital edition won't launch.

On my new desktop, I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, and I was able to download the CC app and launch it and use Lightroom and Photoshop.

On my laptop, I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10.  I had no problem downloading the CC app and launching it and using LR and PS.  After upgrading to Windows 10, I used the CC cleaner, and was able to download and install the CC app.  But, it will not launch.  The timer just spins in a circle.  Help!

I have the same spinning circle issue... haven't found any solutions yet. I hope Microsoft or Adobe comes up with a fix soon, as this is getting a bit annoying. Also having some proplems loading CC apps as well... i.e. AI can't load Creative Cloud Libraries and some cryptic "Something went wrong" errors....

Seriously? "Something went wrong?"

If nothing else Microsoft has a sense of humour.

Make sure that your Windows updates are working.  I could be that there is one in the pipeline that is stuck that is mucking things up.

I just yesterday installed Creative Cloud on my formerly Windows 7 machine and it is working fine. I did have a bunch of problems with updates previously, but found the way to disable selective updates.

The Windows 10 cumulative updates have all been successfully loaded.  The Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB2267602 (Definition 1.203.2275.0) has failed on a number of occasions over the last few days.  Could that be tied to Adobe CC not launching???  I did delete the CC app software and reinstalled it to get to the spinning circle result. Before, I did not even get that far.

Very frustrating and annoying because I was considering purchasing CC but it only launches on one of my computers right now.
