Copilot voice input is broken after latest Copilot Update

Based on your feedback that you are experiencing an issue with Copilot voice input breaking after the latest Copilot update

We did some testing and I found that I was able to reproduce the issue

Also many users are experiencing the same issue.

It appears to be an error that occurs when updating Copilot from an older version to a newer version, causing the feature to be currently unavailable.

Click on your profile picture in the top right corner to open the drop down menu and report the issue to the Copilot developers.

This will help them realize the problem and fix it as soon as possible.

I have Copilot Pro installed on my Windows 11 PC (Dell XPS), on my IPhone and on my IPad Pro (M4). Since the update of Copilot, the microphone feature no longer works on all the abovementioned equipment. However, the microphone works perfectly well if I use Bing's Copilot, which is the previous version of the application. My microphone works quite well on Chat GPT and other applications. Clearly it is the updated version of Copilot which is the cause of the problem.

If this problem is not fixed in the coming weeks, I will go back to ChatGPT and drop my Copilot Pro subscription. Microsoft is a very large corporation with a very competent and experienced workforce. This situation is unacceptable. Please fix this problem ASAP.

I have already reported this issue to Copilot developers previous week, but there was no response so far. What concerns me most is that there is also no support available from Microsoft:

I acquired a Microsoft Surface Pro 11 (Snapdragon X Elite) for its Copilot functionality. The Copilot operated correctly for one month after the purchase of this costly computer. Now, everything is compromised—both Copilot and Microsoft Support. I feel as though I was deceived into purchasing this Microsoft Surface Pro device.

I experience the same problem. I use copilot pro on my iPhone and Microsoft surface. Voice mode doesn’t work on both sides.

Waiting for fixes.

Something went wrong. I probably just need time to upgrade.it seems thouse problems are related and the voice selector tab is missing :) the lenguage from screenshot is Bulgarian

Now the Logo on the right corner changed and we have a new bugged copilot. it cant even generate links and the micro isnt working since weeks. microsoft is killing with every update

I have the app on IPhone 13 and the mic feature doesnt work. I assumed it was because the app wasnt fully ready or something because its only being rolled out. However, I do notice that when i click on the mic in the copilot app it starts the call app (green phone logo appears) and the phone starts a call in the call app with copilot audio. Its as if the microphone is being mixed up with calls. I have tried several things like reinstalling app, restarting phone, allowing permissions for mic, airplane mode with wifi etc. Nothing changes and it still starts the call app. Its frustrating because I have signed up for copilot pro and thought that would work because of limited features with free version but that didnt work either. It seems like a bug in the app or the app is not ready. Im still on a free trial for copilot pro

but its very silly that Microsoft would offer subscription when the main feature doesnt work. Have no problems with mic on chatgpt app.
