Contacting Microsoft Support

I'm trying to contact Microsoft Support to raise a technical issue, and have just renewed my 'Answer Desk Assure' subscription.

I've worked my way through the answer desk website to where I can book a phone call to -

If I select either the 'Call Me Back' or 'Arrange a Call' options, I can get a confirmation that my request has been confirmed; however, I do not receive a call back and their suggested time lines have been missed.

You are better using the online Chat to a Microsoft Tech. Make sure that you note the reference number then you can go back at a later date without having to explain your problem over again if you need to.

I don't have the facilities for an 'online chat'.
The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the euphoria of meeting the schedule has been forgotten.

By 'chat' I thought it meant 'have a conversation by microphone'.

I've had a very good session with a MS tech and, although my issue has not been resolved (it involves a third-party). I've been able to move it forward somewhat.
