configuring update for windows 10

I got a notification for windows 10 update on my windows 8.1 desktop. The files were already downloaded. The setup gave an option to restart the pc, and I did it. It's been more than 4 hours and the installation in stuck at 4% it says:

' configuring update for windows 10 4% complete do not turn off your computer'

I have an Asus motherboard, AMD phenom X2 chipset, no graphic card and 4gb ram. I have Ubuntu installed on dual boot. Please help.
