Computer restarts for no apparent reason

Hi,

As of late i been having an issue with my PC with windows 11pro installed.

apparently it restarts when screen is of and lock screen has been activated.

i haven`t witnessed the restart itself but whenever I log in it loads the startup services.

even more curiosity rises when i look at the logs which are cleared

Is there another way that i can see the logs, maybe an external monitoring application that can monitor logs without them being deleted.

PC runs fine while gaming and if i turn off screen lock it runs normally.

Power options are set to high performance and only two options that i can question are

turn off display after 3 minutes

turn off hard disk after 20 minutes

Can the setting processor power management be an issue

it is set to run 100% on both options minimum an maximum

I read somewhere that when idling it is possible that processor overheats and shuts down as the cooler idles with the system, but i cannot verify this.

this is brand new system that i recently put together.

Hi Ivan,

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

I will first suggest changing the minimum processor state.

Also, update the BIOS to the latest version and temporarily disable any overclocking settings until we determine the one causing the issue.
