I am Antonio, a Microsoft Community independent advisor, a Windows 10 and Microsoft office user like you. I hope I can help you on your concern.

To be able to assist you properly, I would like to ask few questions from you, please see below:

1. When did the issue start to happen?
2. Was this working before?
3. Are there any changes recently before this happens?

Please try these steps:

1. In taskbar, righ-click the sound icon and select Sounds.
2. Go to Recording tab > select the Microphone device you are using
3. Click Configure button
4. Then select Set up microphone
5. Then follow the instructions on the next screens.
After completing it, please check again your microphone.

Also, try the Audio Tuning wizard:

1. In search box, search for Audio Tuning Wizard
2. Then follow the instructions on the next screens.

You're response is highly appreciated. Please let me know if the issue is fixed, if not, we will find another way.
