Changing amount of graphics card ram. I need some help

Ok, so, my laptop is a toshiba satellite, self refurbished to widows ten.

It has no upgrades available except from 4gb ram to 8gb and from hdd to ssd. I know the hdd wil not increase gaming fps, but will increacing my integrated graphics card vram/ram do it?

The last time (before i upgraded my ram to 8gb) my vram/internal graphics card had like 64mb or just a low amount for dedicated vram, or video ram. So.

One: how could i increase it without changing any components, cause the cpu is soldered.

Two: how do i access the panel the tells me what the specs of the graphics card are.

Three:w changing this increase gaming fps?

I just really wanna get the best out of my laptop before thinking of upgrading to a new one.

Hi Sandy

To see if this is possible, I need a bit more information:

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Expand the Display Adapters section, what device(s) are listed there?

Expand the Processors section, what is the model of processor on your system?

It has two intel celeron n2840 processors. I've seen vids where people got really good fps on minecraft with this processor. I'm just wonderig if vram amount is te issue. And if i can fit it. The cpu and the graphics card have the latest updates, i just wanna squeeze as much juice as I can before my laptop gives out, it is already set to gaming mode, and high performance battery plan.

Hi Sandy

That dual core processor has Intel HD Graphics for Intel Atom Processor Z3700 Series

There is no built-in memory on that graphics option and the RAM allocated to that is managed by Windows, it will allocate as much memory as it can when needed by apps or games

You cannot adjust the amount of RAM allocated to that Intel Graphics option, it is not possible, sorry . . .

Oh, ok. I really wish they would allow me to upgrade it the, i heard amd is pretty good. But it would need a pc specialist to replace it, cause the cpu is soldered to the motherboard.

Maybe I'll just upgrade to an ssd, that'll fix a little bit of the lag, cause it'll be able to store data faster.

Thanks anyway, i might still just look into some laptops.

A desktop is a option, but i prefer to have portability.
