Certain Apps displayed too small

Just got a brand new ASUS zenbook with integrated graphics card. Super excited to get to video editing. But my program (AVS Video Editor) opens and the window/fonts/buttons are incredibly small. So I went to settings-->system-->display-->screen resolution, and tried bumping it up (all the way to 300%) and down (100%). Nothing worked. When I bumped it way up, the window/fonts/buttons did get bigger, but the layout was all messed up. I'm so frustrated.

I've gone to all the threads around here and tried to fix the issue. Here is what I have done:

-ensured all updates have been installed.

-tried every display setting (including changing the font size in every category @ settings-->system-->display-->advanced display settings-->advanced sizing of text and other items-->drop down bar

-tried every scaling option for display settings @ settings-->system-->display-->advanced display settings-->display adapter properties-->Intel HD Graphics Control Panel (tab)-->Scaling (drop down menu)

-resized the window manually and pressed CTRL +

- tried every setting @ settings-->system-->display-->screen resolution, and tried bumping it up (all the way to 300%) and down (100%).

Nothing has worked. Please help!

Hi,

To better assist you, please clarify the following:

  1. Does AVS Video Editor program have its own setting?
  2. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the AVS Video Editor?

Were looking forward to your response.

1. Yes AVS Video Editor has it's own settings, which can be accessed by opening the program and finding the settings tab. There are no settings that have to do with display, or aspect ratio, or resolution. I played around with the settings that are available, and it was to no effect.

2. Yes, I uninstalled and re-installed. No dice.

I think it's the default setting of AVS Video Editor for display, or ratio, or resolution. If you already tried all the display settings on Windows 10.

May i know which version of AVS video editor is installed on your computer?
