Caret Browsing and Volume Buttons

Hello, everything has been working fine, until this morning. My volume keys are, f6mute, f7 -, and f8 +. I tried to use them to adjust my volume and then got a pop up asking if I wanted to enable caret browsing, I selected no, but my f6 key is still opening my search bar. I checked my internet advanced settings, it says my caret browsing is turned off. It seems to only be affecting those 3 keys. I would like to regain use of these shortcut keys, they were working just fine yesterday. Any help would be great.

Hi Aila,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Are you using a laptop?

If you are, if you press the Fn key + one of those keys, does that produce the correct action?

If it does, try pressing Esc + Fn to try to release the Function Lock.

If that does not solve this, boot into BIOS and check for a setting to switch between Function and Media/Action keys.
