Cant Upgrade to Windows 11 Because I Need Update Health Tool but the Update Tool does not Work

I have been having many issues with trying to upgrade to windows 11 again after a factory reset and being forced to go back to 10.

There is no option to upgrade in updates. I tried the upgrade assistant and it requires me to use the update health tool that does not open on my computer. I tried to reinstall the health tool and it always goes to "please wait while windows configures" and then disappears and never installs the program. I also tried installing with a USB flash drive and I always get the same error message saying that it cant be installed.

My PC meets the system requirements for windows 11 and was running it perfectly fine a few days ago.

Hi,

Please use the ISO to upgrade to Windows 11. See: How to run In-place upgrade in Windows 11 - Microsoft Community:

If the setup doesn't succeed, share your setup logs.

  • Open the "C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\" folder.

  • Select the two folders, "Panther" and "Rollback" (if present).

  • Copy the two folders to the desktop and Zip them.

  • Upload the zip file to OneDrive and share the link here.
