Can't remove Windows Hello PIN

I want to remove Windows Hello PIN because I don't need it anymore, but why I can't remove it?

Please follow this instructions to remove PIN:

1. Press WINDOWS + i
2. Click "Account"
3. Click "Sign-in Option"
4. Click "PIN (Windows Hello)"
5. Click "Remove"
6. Click "Remove" again

What message do you see, when clicking on remove PIN?

Which version/build of Windows 10 do you have. Did you set a MS online account prior to the PIN, maybe you can't remove the PIN as it's the only account sign-in.

I don't use it on my public build but was forced to set a PIN during a clean install of a Insider Preview (future version) so perhaps it also depends on the version you have. The option to remove the PIN is definitely available on my preview build and I have a MS account set.

Hello,

Click I forgot my PIN link. Provide your password, if asked. On Setup a new PIN, click Cancel button. PIN should be removed now. Here's the video illustration of this method:
