Can't remove watermark even though Windows 10 is activated.

Hello! On my desktop is displayed my build number of Windows.

I've looked it up on how to remove it.

I used Universal Watermark remover which partially fixed the problem.

Still "C:\Windows" is left.

Here is a screenshot:

Hi Antonio

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Are you using an insider build of Windows 10 and is your Windows 10 activated

If you are on an Insider build or your Windows 10 is not activated that will cause the watermark, that utility you are using to remove the watermark may need updating is it is not successfully removing the watermark, you should contact the developer of that utility.

Hi Antonio

It is normal for an Insider Build to have the watermark at the bottom right of the screen indicating Build No. ... etc. that is no indication of activation status.

If that utility is not correctly hiding the watermark, you do need to contact the software developer, they will need to check their code and update it, so the software works correctly.

The software is from 2015. This is how it looks with the software disabled:

Hi Antonio_21_

It is unusual to have C:\Windows in that watermark, are you sure that is not on the Desktop image?

Or do you run any other skinning or theming utility?

Well not that I am aware of. Maybe if i boot into safe mode and see if the problem is still here?

It just randomly popped up one day when I was using Windows.

I tried it and it only showed in the middle top part of the screen the windows edition and build number but not like it was showing in normal Windows.

Also 1 important thing that I will add is if I open any game, browser or anything which covers the fullscreen it doesn't appear. it is only visible in the desktop.

Hi Antonio_21_

I noticed, even though you are on the Windows Insider program, you are running an old version of Windows 10 you should update to the latest version.
