Can't Remove Administrator account to roll back to Windows 7

Hello, I am attempting to foll back to Windows 7 and the recovery is asking me to remove an administrator account in order to do a rollback.  The account is titled Administrator and it is a local account. I can't see how to remove this...How do I do it?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for posting your query to Microsoft forum. I will certainly help you with this.

Are you facing any issues with Windows 10 that you want to roll back.

Method 1:

  1. Click on the Windows key + X and then select Computer Management.
  2. Now, select Local users and groups and then Users.
  3. Now, Right Click on the account that you want to delete and click Delete.

If the account Administrator is an inbuilt account it cannot be deleted. However we can disable the account.

Method 2: Deactivate hidden admin account

  1. Press Windows + R key on the keyboard.

  2. Type cmd in the run bar.

  3. In Command Prompt type this command: net user administrator /active:no

  4. Press Enter and Restart the computer.

Please refer: Go back to your previous version of Windows
