None of the 5 methods worked. It basically says xpsrchvw can't be found.
XPS Document Writer v4 is an option if I go into Print from a Word document. But I need to access the .xps files that were transferred over from my old Windows 7 computer. They opened & printed just fine before.

Are you saying that you cannot install the XPS Viewer or the XPS Viewer is installed but you still cannot open an .xps file?

I just found a solution on another site that worked for me. I opened Command Prompt as Administrator & put in:
dism /Online /Add-Capability /CapabilityName:XPS.Viewer~~~~0.0.1.0
