Original Title: Can't login to Windows 8 after refresh. I am about to lose my mind!!!
I am LIVID!!!!
I refreshed my NEW laptop because Windows 8.1 caused a boatload of problems and crashes. NEVER AGAIN.
After refreshing, I could only login with a local account which gives me access to nothing. My normal password and login as administrator using stupid windows live.com password doesn't work anymore.
So I changed the password for windows.live on another PC.
Now that new password doesn't work either. WTF?????
I can't access any of my stuff which was setup and stored under the original user/password.
I can't add a new admin account, I can't do another refresh or fresh install. Nothing. It just keeps prompting me for the password which it won't take.
Also, when I search for this problem on the web I see dozens and dozens of links for this problem.
BUT when I go to the link it seems they have all been removed from answers.microsoft. TRYING to HIDE the PROBLEM????
Can someone tell me how to get out of this nightmare so I can access my original account. PLEASE!!!!!!
