Can't leave Microsoft family

I'm 19 and I must've done this thing when I was 9-10. I joined a Microsoft family thing and I'm listed as a child. I'm not the manager of it or whatever it's called. I can't leave the family and that's compromising everything I do. I have no way of contacting this person who's the owner of the family. Im even older than the dude as he was a childhood friend. HOW DO I LEAVE. Can an admin remove me please? I have YEARS of data in this Microsoft account I can't just make a new one.

Thank you for reaching out! As an Independent Advisor and fellow Microsoft user, I'm happy to assist you.

It's important to note that Microsoft has safeguards in place to protect minors, which is why leaving a family group can be challenging when the account is set up as a child account. However, given that you're now an adult, Microsoft Support should be able to assist you in resolving this issue.

I suggest you contact Microsoft about this. Here's the link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/
