Can't find the setting to turn off keyboard backlight

I want to turn my keyboard backlight off without it turning on again occasionally. I can use the fn+f3 shortcut, but then it turns on after a while. However i can't find the setting for turning it off in windows mobility center or any other places. How can i turn it off? (i use windows 10)
This is a hardware problem. Check the maker of the computer.

Sarah,

  • lacrumb is correct, keyboard backlighting is controlled by utilities put on your computer by the computer maker.
  • Keyboard backlighting only appears in Windows mobility centre if the computer maker has put it there.

I suggest

  1. Checking through your Start menu looking for a computer maker's utility,
  2. Reading the computer manual,
  3. Searching the computer maker's website
  4. Searching any user forums for your computer model
  5. Installing all hardware updates & BIOS updates provided on the computer maker's website
