"organization activation server"

This indicates that most probably you have Volume Licensed Windows which are user on large organizations and those licenses are not mean to consumers.

From where you have got your license / product key?

To check what type of license you have open Command Prompt (CMD) and type command slmgr /dli. What does it say in place where I have RETAIL?

Hi Crystal, do you actually have Windows 10 attached to an organisation or company?

Open the Settings App

Go to System - About

Whet version of Windows 10 is reported there, is it Pro or Enterprise?

Then in the Settings App, go to Update and Security - Activation

Does Activation report that 'Windows is activated using your Organisation's Activation server'?

Where did you get that license? As I wrote it's not for normal consumers at home.

I'm afraid you have to buy correct license to activate. Where did you got that license?

Have your PC originally been activated with OEM license delivered with PC?

I don't really remember, but i think i got it from a small computer shop, or from the shop i got the pc itself. when I first got the pc this wasn't an issue but now there's a message that I need to activate windows.

That's because that kind of licenses are managed but organizations KMS Servers and each PC must contact to that server in some intervals to remain active.

It seems that this "small computer shop" is sold illegal license to you.
