Can't access IE Temporary Files folder using Windows 10

I need to access IE Temporary Files folder using Windows 10 but I cannot.

This is what I did:

  1. Control Panel --> Folder Options: enabled “Show hidden files and folders”, unchecked “Hide protected Operating System Files” and also unchecked “Hide Extensions for Known Filetypes”
  2. I tried to navigate to Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\ and I got the message

I checked permissions of my user and it is defined as Administrator

And I DO have full access to that folder, as it can be seen here

Can anyone please help to solve this issue? Or is there any other workaround to access that folder?

Thank you

Great idea, I had to start with documents and settings and remove the mention" Deny access to Everyone"
Right click "Documents and Settings" , Right click "Properties, Left click "Security", Left click "Advanced"

Left click "Permissions" if not already open, In the window it will show

Left click on "Change permissions"

"Type"            "Principal"                 "Access"            "Inherited from"          "Applies to"

Deny               Everyone               Full Control              None                      This folder, sub folders and files

Allow              Everyone                 Full Control               None                       This folder, sub folders and files

llow             (Administrator)          Full Control               None                       This folder, sub folders and files

Highlight the top "Deny" line  (I have put in Bold)

and "Delete"

and then "Apply"

Do the same for "Local Settings" under (your name),

Then do it again for "Temporary Internet Files" and the "Contents.IE5" will then show

This seems to do the trick for me
