Cannot remove "Other email addresses" from microsoft account profile

Hi, I have an old (non-microsoft) email listed in "Other email addresses" when viewing my Microsoft account profile online (Microsoft account | Your profile).

I can't see, or find any way to remove this - Clicking the link in that block, "Edit account info" does not allow me to remove it, and this email is not listed as an alias. Aliases show only my primary alias and old Skype login. It is also not visible in "Email & accounts" under windows.

Can anyone point me to a solution for this - I see others have posted questions that are silimar, but with no working fixes that I can see

Thank you! Brent.

Hi br_nz,

Welcome to post in Microsoft Community.

I'm Mosken, I do apologize for the inconvenience that you're experiencing right now, let me help you figure it out.

According to your description, I knew that you want to delete a Microsoft account login email that you don't use, but you can't delete it at "Edit account info". If my understanding is wrong, please correct me in the reply.

You can edit your login account in "Sign-in Preferences", as shown below.

Because my account only has one email address, I can't demonstrate further. Please choose your unused email address carefully and click "remove" to delete it.

I wish the above will be helpful to you. Please feel free to let me know how it goes, and I will do my best to help you.

Best Regards,

Mosken- MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist

Thanks so much for your fast reply!

Yes, that is where I was trying to delete the email, but this is what I get in comparison with yours. You can see "Other email addresses" shows the account I want to delete (b*@*z), but when I click "Sign-in preferences", this is not visible to remove as suggested.

I note that there is a second account shown. This is my original Skype handle, which is linked with b*@outlook.co.nz. I note that no option is given to remove that either, although that is not an issue for me at this time.

Thanks, Brent.
