Cannot make calls from Phonelink (iPhone)

Hi,

I have setup my iPhone with the phonelink. There was no problem with it. By using my wired headset, I am able to make and receive phone calls.

Earlier this week, I removed my iPhone from the phone link and re-connected it. Afterwards, the notification of a call will pop up, but the voice cannot be heard. While on a call, it is impossible to select the PC on iPhone.

I have connected another iPhone for testing purposes. It works perfectly for the first time. Same issue when I deleted and re-added the phone.

So, once the phone is removed from the phone link and re-added, I am unable to make calls.

Is any work around for that.

Troubleshooting carried out:

Removed the phone from phone link

Removed the phone from Windows bluetooth devices

Removed the Windows PC from iPhone bluetooth devices.

Restarted both PC and iPhone.

Added the iPhone again with Phone link.

Hello, Mohammed Fazil1.

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

From your description, I understand that you can make calls the first time you connect, but you cannot make calls after that.

You have tried the general method.

There is no good solution at present. I suggest you give feedback to Microsoft developers through the Feedback Center.

I asked my colleague about this issue, and he told me that some community members are also reporting this issue, and they can only wait for the development team to fix it.

Please use Win+F to open the Feedback Center, report your problem, and submit your test results as much as possible.

After submission, share the feedback link. Other community members, including me, can vote for your feedback. A higher number of votes can attract the attention of developers and increase the priority of solving the problem.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards.

Hello, Mohammed Fazil1.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm glad to see that you solved the problem.

Thank you for sharing.

Usually, drivers should be downloaded from the device manufacturer. It is not recommended to use the drivers provided by Windows Update.

Moreover, the drivers provided by the device manufacturer are usually customized drivers, which are slightly different from the drivers provided by Windows Update.

If you encounter new problems, welcome back to the Microsoft Community.

Best regards.
