Cannot download language pack

Confirm if this is the same steps you've followed to change the input language and the display language:

Alternatively, you may also have this configured through the Control Panel. Simply follow this steps:

Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Language > Advanced settings > click on drop-down option > select the language you want to set as display > click on Apply language settings to the welcome screen, system accounts, and new user accounts

Yes, that is the same steps. I did it both ways. The problem is the targeted display language option does not even show up for me.

And here, it shows that the language pack is already installed. Regardless of whether I restarted, the above screen is still the same.

Assuming that the language pack you've downloaded is showing in the Change your language preferences (list), make sure to move the said language on top of the list and have the English (United States) come in second:




Then select the Use language list (recommended) on the drop-down button in Advanced settings.

Check if that would do the trick.
