Cannot access ESO account

I need to reset my password for my ESO Account for Age of empires 3 game. The recovery tool on the game's website seems to not be working right, as I'm not receiving any email with a link to reset my password.

Is there anybody that can help me with this?

I was told by a windows support agent to post here asking for help, to retrieve my age of empires 3 account. It is not an Elder scrolls account, it is Ensemble Studios Online account. Their website is not working properly to reset the password on an account. I contacted xbox support, and they told me to contact a windows support agent. And this last agent told me to start a thread in this community so i can get assistance on this issue.

Ia there any kind of help i can get here ?

I've got the same problem. I bought the Age of Empires III Complete Collection two weeks ago via steam.

Soon after I forgot my password. The following describes what I've tried until now, but nothing worked yet.

First step: I tried to change it using the official Ensemble Studios Online-ESO-Account-Manager:

Unfortunately, I never received an email, althought I could correctly answer my own secret question. I also checked spam filters and so on.

Second step: was to contact the "official" support email addresses from:

From the first I've got an automatic answer with outdated help links. From the second nothing. A week later I've learned that the first support address isnt't "supported" anymore. Source (in german):

Third step: After that I've contacted the official Microsoft X-Box support like stated on the official website on the bottom:

The support guy was very kind there, yet he couldn't help me as they seem not to have access to Ensemble Studios.

Fourth step: So I tried it with Microsoft main support site, also very kind assistance, but no real help. She told me, that I should try Xbox-Support again, which I didn't do until now.

Fithth step: Posting this here, hoping to get helpful assitance. I've read some guys having the same problems a year ago, but all the links and forums are outdated and not active anymore.

Current situation: Still no multiplayer gaming possible without password, which is frustrating for a all new bought game. I could try to establish contact to the reponsible persons, for example MS Ryz0n, Microsoft Studios Account Manager?

I tried all the steps you mentioned. Basically the emails are not being sent, because their servers apparently are not working properly, I read that from another thread in Steam with the same situation we are in now. 

To be honest, I think we are in deepshit lol. There seems to be no help regarding this issue. The closest I got to, was reading a thread in Steam, and apparently a user with the name BarbossaBlade in age of empiress' website, was saying to PM him/her, and that he/her would be able to assist people in our situation. The problem with that, is that the last time he logged in to the age of empires website, was last november. My message to him/her still says Unread, so I don't know what the chances are that it might help out.

Like you said, Xbox people told me to contact Windows people. The windows tech told me to just post a thread here, and see if somebody could help me with this issue.

If by chance you get this sorted out, let me know. I'll do likewise, but honestly, I see more chances of a half life 3 happening, than getting our accounts back.

I found out a few days ago about the Server update, Microsoft Studios has been doing for the past months. Maybe once they are back online, our lost password issue resolved. Meaning, their recovery tool starts sending e-mails appropriately.

It would be nice to have help from a technician though, and have an update on this issue.
