Can you connect a Bluetooth devices without logging in to windows?

I had a windows wireless keyboard that has recently died so ive invested in a Bluetooth one to replace it. not thinking about setting it up.

As I have no working keyboard i cant log on to windows pass the my pin sign in so i cant get to the Bluetooth setting to add the new keyboard. 

is there anyway of adding a Bluetooth device such as a keyboard without login in? 

or do i need to find another keyboard!?! 

PS if the answer is no you can't add a new Bluetooth device form the log in page. Can you patch windows 10!!!!!

You can login without a keyboard.

At the Windows login screen, click the Ease of Access icon that looks like a clock with arrows. On Windows 10, the icon is located in the bottom-right corner after you've passed the lock screen.

Click the On-Screen Keyboard option.

After a moment, a keyboard will appear on your screen. Click inside the password box to enter text in it, then type your password by clicking the keys.

Press Enter and sign in to Windows.
