Can Windows 7 Home Premium join domains, even though it doesn't have the Domain join feature?

Hey I'm just wondering whether to upgrade to Home Premium or do a clean install of Professional, because I need to connect to wireless internet at a university, but I don't know if I need Professional with Domain Join or not. I would really prefer not to have to do a clean install.

Hello Spellcheck,

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Windows 7 Community Forums.

I am sorry to inform that with Windows 7 home premium does not have the feature join the domain network. To use the feature to join the domain you need to install Windows 7 professional or upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate.

Access the link below to know more about the editions and features in Windows 7:

Hope it helps.
