Can not connect my laptop's hotspot on my iPhone.

Hi,

I'm trying to use my laptop as a hotspot. I connected my ethernet cable and tried the future. It is working but not in all devices. My problem is all devices can connect to my hotspot other than iPhone. iPhone sees my personal hotspot however, it is not connecting.

I tried to connect my iPhone to different hotspots on different laptops, it works;

I tried to connect my hotspot on different iPhones again it is not working.

Any help would be helpful.

I'm sorry for having this issue.

Please review these steps to solve this issue:

* Check Personal Hotspot settings:

- Go to Settings > Personal Hotspot.
- Make sure that Personal Hotspot is turned on.
- If you can't find or turn on Personal Hotspot, check with your wireless carrier to make sure that it's enabled and that your plan supports it.

* Restart your devices:

- Restart the iPhone that provides Personal Hotspot and the other device that needs to connect to Personal Hotspot.

* Update your software:

- On the iPhone that provides Personal Hotspot, go to Settings > General > Software Update.
- Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS installed.

* Reset network settings:

- On the iPhone that provides Personal Hotspot, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset.

- Tap Reset Network Settings. This will also reset Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

Thank you for your reply but this is not my problem. I do not have any issues for connecting my laptop to any iPhone hotspot. My problem is I can not connect my iPhone to my laptop's hotspot

What is the error message you get when you try to connect your iPhone to Windows Mobile Hotspot? Post a screenshot.

I'm sorry but It does not show any error message. It just says "It couldn't connect"

Do you see that "Unable to connect" message on your mobile hotspot page or on your iPhone?

Go to your iPhone's network properties and try assigning DNS manually. Try setting the following DNS:

8.8.8.8

8.8.4.4

But do you get that “Unable to connect” message on your iPhone or mobile hotspot page? Please reply.

Now try to assign the following static IP address to the iPhone: 192.168.137.2 and in default gateway assign 192.168.137.1

Leave the DNS as those I have already provided.
