what is the error? DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL? If you can provide what to "search" on the BSOD (error code), it can help a lot. No dmp file needed.

Hi Ghersenn, I'm Graeme, an independent adviser here to help.

A BSOD can be caused by many issues, so I'll just give you some basic troubleshooting steps that may help resolve the issue. Firstly, try running the System File Checker:

- Click Start and type cmd.
- Right-click Command Prompt and run it as administrator.
- Type sfc /scannow
- Press Enter.

Secondly, see if a clean boot helps:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929135...

- Sign in to the computer as an administrator.
- Click Start, and type msconfig.
- Select System Configuration from the search results.
- On the Services tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box, and then tap or click Disable all.
- On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click Open Task Manager.
- On the Startup tab in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then click Disable.
- Close Task Manager.
- On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click OK, and then restart the computer. Once the computer restarts in a clean boot environment, you can follow troubleshooting steps to install, uninstall, or run your application. Your computer may temporarily lose some functionality while in a clean boot environment, however that functionality will return when you reset the computer to start normally after you have finished your troubleshooting.

If the BSOD doesn't happen repeatedly, it was probably just a once-off issue. But if it happens multiple times, let me know the circumstances in which it occurs and I'll see what we can try to fix it! Thanks!

I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 2-Year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

We need log files(called dump files) that tell us what lead to crash.
Please share them with us for a better analysis of the problem. Instructions can be found here:

Hi ghersenn

Open Windows File Explorer

Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Zip up the contents of that folder

If you have problems zipping those files, copy them out onto your Desktop and zip them from there

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.) then on OneDrive, right click the file(s) and choose Share - Get Link

Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

Related to ATI Video driver.

I see the latest one is installed:

   Timestamp:        Wed Jan  9 17:08:21 2019 (5C368CF5)

Try using an older version of the driver if the newer one causes BSOD and see if the issue persists.
