BSOD while launching one specific game (Back 4 Blood) after monitor & build upgrade.

Hello, i'm trying to figure out what causes blue screens while trying to launch B4B. I tried playing more demanding games and not having any issue so it cannot be hardware related problem, more like denuvo related I guess. I also bought new oled display today (3440x1440) so not sure if this could be the issue.

Here are the dumpfiles, thanks in advance:

Hi Patryk,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

The minidump files indicate EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys as a cause of the issue. Which is related to the easy anticheat engine.

Kindly update the game or uninstall and reinstall a stable version to fix the issue.

Please do not hesitate to ask if you need further assistance.
Sincerely,

Thank you for a response!

Reinstalling the game didn't help. I've taken following steps:

- Reinstalled the game,

- Reset the EAC via command prompt (for some reason the EOS_setup.exe file just doesn't work, it pops up a window for a split second then nothing else happens) then reinstalled the game again,

- deleted the EAC folder containg .sys file,

Funny thing, launching the game initializes the EAC even when its files have been deleted.

Unfortunately, none of the steps above did fix the problem.

Thanks for updating me.

If your Windows 11 version is 24H2, the issue is known:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/relea...

If not, go to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers > Find EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys and rename it to EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys.old

Restart your computer and check if it encounters BSOD.

Please feel free to ask if you need further assistance.
