BSOD Getting error code 0xa0000001

Original Title: error  0xa0000001

I get often this error  0xa0000001 and my notebook reboots.

The event log says:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0xa0000001 (0x0000000000000005, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000)

Can anyone help me please?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

As you have stated that you are receiving an error 0xa0000001 and reboot the computer for a bug check.

I would like to ask few questions regarding the issue:

  1. Have you made any changes to your computer prior to the issue?

  2.  Have you installed all pending windows update on your computer? (Updates are additions to   software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.)

  3. When do you receive this error on your computer?

There are many reasons why your system may crash due to these stop errors. The most common scenarios are: Faulty drivers, Hardware issue (especially RAM) or Anti-virus software problem.

You may want to try the following and check if it helps.

Method 1:

Run Memory Diagnostics test to check for any memory problems. Refer the following link for the same.

How do I know if my computer has a memory problem?

Method 2

Update the chipset, video card, display and network adapter drivers to the latest by visiting the computer manufacturer’s website.

Method 3: Clean Boot

Putting your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot.

Note: Refer "How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting" to reset the computer to start as normal after troubleshooting.

Hi Morris,

thank you for your reply.

Answering your questions:

1 No changes before the issue

2 my windows is updated

3 There is not an exact moment that I receive the error. It 's happened often when I was on Facebook

I 'd like to add that i bought my notebook few months ago and after some weeks I had my first error.

Basic information about my notebook:

Toshiba satellite L50D-B-151

processor AMD A8 6410 with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics.

Anyway my system says that my driver are updated.I would be grateful if you have more suggestions.

Many thanks
