Boot not found

I cloned a disk to migrate from HDD to SSD. I put the disk in the SATA slot and the computer didn't boot.

After starting from the windows media startup USB, I run the diskpart and check what it shows in the picture. The boot partition (FAT32) and the main SSD partition C are hidden. D is the Windows partition and I checked it contains all the data... this should be C, am I wrong?

Anyway, why is the EFI partition hidden? I also try to do bootrec /fixboot getting access denied.

Any help appreciated.

This is a bit confusing, if possible access the disk manager, take a screenshot and post it here.

The computer is not booting, I don't know how to access the disk manager from a CMD in the repair tool.

Hi ,

Do the following: disconnect the SSD and access the bios and disable secure boot and keep only HD as boot in the order.

Hi,

after your suggestion, I got:

BFSVC Warning: Failed to forcibly unload the system store. Status = [c000000e]

I also tried again

bootrec /fixboot

getting

Access denied.

all this is from a startup USB with the Windows media install software.

Have you tried booting from the cloned SSD? Boot drive does not have to have the letter C. Maybe the clone soft changed the letter c to d.

"the EFI partition hidden" is for security reason, I think. Thus, it does not have the letter for the efi partition, thus invisible. You can make it visible, though.

BUT... it worked, it is able to boot from the ssd

Thank you so much!

PD: in startup, now shows as if there were 2 OS, both windows. Choosing the first starts fine, though.

In the "boot" tab of msconfig (System Configuration), remove the broken one. :)
