Whichever Bluetooth device (a Sony WH-CH720N or a "thecoopidea" CP-TW04) I try to connect to my Windows 11 device, I can't seem to play any sound through them. I manage to pair them properly, and they are registered as connected and recognized as a headset by my computer. But when I try to allow apps and Windows to play sound through this device, by clicking the "Allow" button depicted in the screenshot below, nothing happens, the button doesn't switch to "Don't Allow". Anyone know what this issue is?

May I ask what is the make and model of your Laptop, or your Desktop's motherboard? Also, what are the apps that you are using to use the Bluetooth headsets on?
Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
Type msinfo32 and press Enter. This opens the System Information window.
In the System Summary section, look for the following:
System Summary: View general information such as the operating system version, processor details, and installed memory (RAM)..
BaseBoard Manufacturer: This is your motherboard's manufacturer.
BaseBoard Product: This is your motherboard's model number.
Kind Regards,
Charity

Hi, I didn't build my PC, it's a Windows Surface Pro 9. Let me know if this doesn't have all the information you need!

Dear Felix Gibeault
Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.
I'm sorry you're having issues with your Bluetooth device on Windows 11. Here are some steps to help you resolve the connection and audio playback issues:
Check the audio output device
Right-click on the volume icon in the bottom right corner of the taskbar and select “Sound Settings”.
In the “Output” section, make sure the correct Bluetooth device is selected as the default device.
If the device is in the list but there is no sound, try right-clicking on the device and select “Set as default device”.
Reset the Bluetooth device
In Settings > Bluetooth & Other Devices, find the connected Bluetooth device and remove it.
Reboot your computer and then pair and connect the device again.
Reinstall the Bluetooth driver
You can visit your motherboard manufacturer's support website, enter your motherboard model number, find the corresponding Bluetooth driver, install the driver file manually, restart your computer, and pair the Bluetooth test again.
