Hi Will_133

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

If you have SAntivirusKD.sys on your system, most likely you are infected with Segurazo, and we need to remove that from your PC, it will eat up all your resources

1
I need to check if Segurazo is on your PC

Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc)

Choose the Processes Tab

Please provide a screenshot of the first two pages of processes running on your PC

2
Please check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes . . .

Open Windows File Explorer

Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link

Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

Hi Will_133

Thank you for that video, there is no data in your Minidump files, they are 0kb in size

The video does show you are infected with Securazo, it is showing as 'Antivirus Service' with a red and white logo

To remove Segurazo:

Download and install the Free version of MalwareBytes, but do not run a scan with that yet

https://www.malwarebytes.com/

You must boot into Safe Mode and then run MalwareBytes from there to fully remove Segurazo

Click the Power Button on your Start Menu
Press the Shift Key and click Restart
Your PC will boot into the Windows Recovery Environment
Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Startup Settings and click Restart
Upon restart, press 4 to enter Safe Mode

Then run a full scan with MalwareBytes

HI Dave,

I got the same bluescreen error. I know I had Segurazo on my PC before and thought I got rid of it. Will I be able to completely kill it with Kaspersky which I already have on my PC? I'm running a full scan now but not sure how long it will take to complete. Or do I have to do this with Malwarebytes? I hate to have two anitviruses running on my PC.

EDIT: My scan is at 1% and going very slow. I did a registry search and found its location:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SANTIVIRUSKD

Should I rip it out from there or do I have to use some other more elaborate technique?

Thanks,

Roy
