Question

Q: Blue screen even in safe mode, startup repair doesn't help This thread is locked from future replies

Since a few days ago Windows 7 does not start up anymore. The message "starting windows" appears and the windows logo begins to build up itself (only the red part) on the screen when suddenly a blue screen appears for like a 10th of a second and the computer restarts. Unfortunately I am not able to read what is written there...
In safe mode the same happens.
A startup repair doesnt work either, all tests finish with 0x0 and once a test regarding the HD finished with 0x490.
I ran chkdsk /r /f /x on the drive from the prompt, and everything was reported to be fine.
The computer is a Lenovo G550, the windows is original and activated (32 bit) and the system worked until like May 5th or so.
The messages are originally portugues, so I hope I got the right translation.

The "Startup Repair Office" of startup repair shows as details:
Problem Description
1: 6.1.7600.16385
2: 6.1.7600.16385
3 : unknown
4: 2100927
5: AutoFaiolover
6: 15
7: NoRootcause
OS version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1

I think it's not a general hardware problem as Ubuntu 9.10 keeps on running without any problems...
What can I do?!
