Blue Screen Error - PFN_LIST_CORRUPT 0x4e

original title: BSOD

Hi people. This has been my problem for the past week. My computer just crashes without warning and my main disk which i had the windows 7 installed is now corrupt (It has only been a day since i reformatted the system) and I'm still getting the BSOD even when I was reinstalling Windows. I will try to repair the system files later. Here is the link to the dump files.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Manually check for drivers as indicated, those driver programs are accidents waiting to happen
and they rarely actually find the most current versions.

Note the cautions on the memory checking where error tests do not find all memory errors so
some actions might have to be taken concering physical placement.

Do not have more than one major antivirus on the machine, much less running, at one time.
Even the remnants of a 2nd one can cause strange issues. Uninstall BitDefender and use it
maker's Removal Tool to stop remnants. Do same for any others you have or EVER had on
the machine, except Avira, even if they were uninstalled. Multiple antivirus programs actually
lower your security and cause these strange issues.

Hope this helps.

1 crash is cased by the Bitdefender driver: bdfsfltr.sys. This version is too old:

    Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\bdfsfltr.sys
    Image name: bdfsfltr.sys
    Timestamp:        Mon Dec 31 09:12:12 2007

other crashes is caused by memory_corruption , so it may be a RAM issue. Also check your HDD for errors. The old Bitdefender program my damaged the ntfs file system.
