Black screen with cursor

I have a black screen with a cursor problem every time there's a Windows update.
The update in question is the 2025-01 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5050092).
I always have to restore the previous system version.
I've tried disabling app readiness, updating the graphic card, restarting the display driver, and using automatic startup repair, but none of these worked.
My question is: Is there any issue if I don't update Windows? Can I just avoid updating at all? Or is there any real solution for this issue?

Hello, I'm Estrella, an Independent Advisor, and I'm here to assist you. I understand that this situation has been challenging for you. I'll do my best to help.

Windows Update ensures you get the latest security patches, bug fixes, and feature improvements for better security, performance, and compatibility.

However, if the issue is caused by the KB5050092 update, it is an optional preview update and can be safely skipped. These preview updates serve as a test for the full version, which will be released on the second Tuesday of the following month.

January 29, 2025—KB5050092 (OS Builds 22621.4830 and 22631.4830) Preview

You can uninstall this update and use the Show or Hide tool to prevent it from reinstalling.

Download and install the Show or Hide tool: http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/2/F2...
Then run the troubleshooter. Choose to hide the KB5050092 update so Windows will not install it again.

Click Advanced > Check the Apply repairs automatically box, and hit on Next > Hide Updates. Thank you!
