Black Ops 6 Keeps Crashing (SOLVED)

So i'm currently facing a recurring problem where i keep crashing when playing Call Of Duty, it freezes the game and throws me an DX error giving me the crash log linked above.

I have done a clean install of windows 11, installed the latest Nvidia driver and Bitdefender Anti-virus.

I'm up to date with drivers for my MOBO straight from the manufacturers website including updating my BIOS.

I do not overclock my GPU at all but i run EXPO Tweaked for my RAM timings.

I have also ran SFC/DISM via CMD.

Hoping to get this issue solved so i can carry on sweating for those high levels :)

SOLVED:

Bitdefender Antivirus is unstable on windows 11, continues to hog RAM without releasing it. Uninstalling did the trick, no crashes at all after some hours of gaming where I'd usually crash every 15-30 minutes.

Exactly the same issue with exactly the same solution. Once BitDefender was removed from the equation the game runs perfectly fine.

me ocurre lo mismo pero no tengo ningun antivirus, tengo todo actualizado y no puedo jugar ni black ops 6 ni csgo 2... no se por que

mis componentes son parecidos:

•CPU ~ AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D @ 5GHz
•GPU ~ GeForce RTX 3080ti
•MOBO ~ ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS
•RAM ~ 32GB DDR5
•PSU ~ Corsair RMx Series RM850x

I also crash nearly every single match, i did try to remove bit defender but it made no difference. EDIT the crash nearly always occurs (95% of the time) after a match has ended and its about to load to the menu ( crashes just before it shows how much xp you earned etc)

its always either the game closed unexpectedly or dx error, done memory test intel cpu test on the i9 14900k just incase it was one of the defective ones but it says pass, done various graphics stress tests, i figured i can run cyberpunk without issues and other games its definately something specific to black ops 6 /cod (the crashes are alot less frequent on zombies mode), as i had with mw3 for a while then it fixed it self but i have no idea how or why.

below are some of the things i have tried:

• Used nvidia cleaner as i changed the gfx card from 3090 to 4080.

• intel cpu diagnostic - pass

• memory tests - pass

• graphics stress test - pass

• windows reset

• disk scans - no problems

• virus scans - no threats

• change from bitdefender to windows defender

• delete and fresh install of cod on steam

• chipset/gfx/network/windows11 all up to date

• removed all the asus bloatware.

• game verification of files countless times which does absolutely nothing at all

• xmp enabled/disabled

• hyperthreading enabled/disabled

• have 1000mb direct to cabinet fibre connection via rj45

• And a myriad of other things

Yet this is the only game to crash all the time, i have simply ran out of ideas.

Ironically it does not crash on my laptop (i7 13th gen - RTX 4060 - 16GB Ram) but that is much less powerful than the pc so the experience isn't the same. (even tried copying the install from the laptop to the pc just because i wanted to try everything)

I9-14900K

ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI - latest bios (2801)

MSI Gaming X Slim RTX 4080 SUPER / NVIDIA Reference card RTX 3090

2X Corsair Veng RGB DDR5 - 5600Mhz

I face the same issues, it's only this game that crashes. Honestly, I'd see if you have an Xbox PC pass to download it that way, or vice versa through Steam. This game is ****, better option would be to switch to a different game.

What anti-Virus are you using now?

I have the same issue. Black Ops 6 and Warzone crashes. Other games I can play with no issue: Battlefield 2042 for example.

W11 PC with intel 12700K + RTX 3080

opened a ticket with CoD but no response yet.

i had to install windows 10 and not had an issue since, luckily i don't have much on my pc so installed it and reinstalled games

all that money they get yet crashing for using crafting table at 190 with no save file dam never again just like cold war its all a money grab **** games **** devs
