Bitlocker icon missing on drive letter

Hi there,

I have three HDD drives and four partitions.

Recently I locked them all using bitlocker. The bitlocker icons are showing on my two drives letters but icons are missing on the other two partitions.

Why is that???

That is odd if they are encrypted...

Do me a favor, click start, and type “bitlocker” and click on “manage bitlocker”

Are the drives listed there?

Yes, they are listed and bitlocker is on for all of them.

Sorry for the late reply...

Hmmm, at one point, did they show that they were encrypted, and then the lock disappeared?

I’m wondering when this started happening, and whether we should try to roll back, or check for new updates to see if we can remedy it.

No they don't show the icon at all, but they're encrypted :|

Are they HDD’s, or SSD’s? I wonder if decrypting and encrypting would do the trick.

You can test with one of the drives, and see if it works.

It's hdd and I bitlocked it like other drives.

Through manage bitlocker, are you able to turn off bitlocker on one of the problemed drives? Once it’s done decrypting, reboot, and reencrypt. I know this will take some time, but it’s worth a shot.
