Bing wallpaper has hijacked my background

Hi,

Over the last two years, I have been using a slideshow as the background on my laptop. Last week that changed.

These beautiful Spotlight pictures have now hijacked my background. They're lovely but my slideshow is lovelier!

I go to Settings > Background and select Slideshow from the dropdown box.

Lo and behold hours later, Bing is back! I like Bing photos for my locked screen but not for my wallpaper. Isn't there a technological equivalent of a can of bug spray that I zap Bing from wallpaper?

Here is a screenshot of my usual settings

Hi Terry

Open the Settings App

Go to Accounts- Sync Your Settings'

Turn off all options on that page

Restart (not shut down) your PC

Then set your background to your preferred setting . . .

Hi Dave,

By options on this page have historically been turned off and remain turned off. Nevertheless, I tried what you said and nothing has changed.

Any other ideas? Perhaps how do I stop these images coming in, in the first place? I've notices that recently I started getting popup notifications of each new image that is being added by Bing. How do I stop that?

Thanks

Terry

This is driving me crazy.

Just received a notification of a new image and it immediately bumped my settings from Slideshow to Picture - itself.

Is there a way to totally unsubscribe to Bing Wallpaper?

Thanks.
