Battery #2 Not Charging (0%), Cable Plugged In [Windows 10]

Hi Guys!

My Windows 10 recently got updated and I noticed that my battery #2 has stopped charging (see screen-shot below). I have updated to the latest drivers, that did not fix it. I tried deleting the ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery Driver then installing it again but that didn't work. I have tried everything that I could read up on this and nothing has worked so far.

Help me out, please! You're my only hope!

Most probably a battery issue. It doesn't charge when usually it is out of life.

You might diagnose the battery using a tool/software provided by the OEM for better analysis.

Windows also generates battery report, but it doesn't help IMO

Hi Sumit,

You are right. I tried the Windows battery report and it was not useful. What I found strange is that the battery was being charged the day before and then it stopped charging. I am going to see if I can get another battery to see if it charges. If yes, then it has to be a Windows issues. If no, then you are right, it is a battery issue.

Thanks!
